Morning Minuet

Morning Minuet (Robin Shadlow, 2022) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded iris that radiates with painterly elegance and refined color play. Reaching 28" (71 cm) and blooming in the early midseason, this cultivar features luminous apricot standards and style arms, each brushed with a subtle wine wash at the midrib. The falls present a lighter apricot ground, intricately detailed with wine plicata dotting—most concentrated at the hafts—accented by a bold wine center line and delicately stippled rim. Tangerine-red beards glow in the throat and middle, finishing in crisp white tips for a dynamic, color-forward effect. With its sophisticated patterning and distinguished pedigree, Morning Minuet is a collector-grade iris that brings a curated, exhibition-ready presence to any garden.
