Moonlit Water

Moonlit Water (Keith Keppel, 2005) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), blooming early through late in the season. This award-winning variety features elegant greyed violet standards that lighten toward the center, with delicate lemon to greenish lemon edges and base. The style arms are white, subtly flushed with lavender blue and tinged greenish lemon. Falls are a rich blue violet, shaded deeper at the edges, with a prominent large white area around the beard and hafts edged in lemon. The rim is finished in pale agate grey. The beards transition from cream at the end to lemon in the middle and a vibrant orange yellow in the throat.
