Moody Blue Eyes

Moody Blue Eyes (Larry Lauer, 2011) is a tall bearded iris reaching 33" (84 cm) and blooming in the late midseason. This variety features wisteria blue standards with a white center and delicate light green veining, complemented by darker wisteria blue style arms. The falls display a rich hyacinth blue with pronounced darker lines radiating from the beard to deeper blue edges, accented by chrome yellow to golden brown shoulders. The beards are lemon yellow in the throat, transitioning to wisteria blue at the tips. Moody Blue Eyes is notable for its ruffled form and pronounced sweet fragrance.
