Mixed Signals

Mixed Signals (Keith Keppel, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 31" (79 cm) with early midseason bloom. This award-winning variety features pale lavender standards edged with a tan border and delicately veined in plumbago. The style arms are a blend of mimosa yellow and white, while the falls display a dramatic transition from dark purple to nightshade and damson, intermingled with violet-blue and white veining. A subtle yellow flash appears below the solid cadmium-yellow to cadmium-orange beards. Bred from Reckless Abandon, Mixed Signals has received both the Honorable Mention (2018) and Award of Merit (2022). Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
