Mimic

Mimic (Alison Nicoll, R. 2002) is a memorable Miniature Dwarf Bearded iris, introduced in 2003/04, that commands attention with its painterly color play and refined form. This midseason bloomer features crisp white standards, elegantly veined and blushed with violet, complemented by violet style arms. The creamy white falls are edged and hafted in lilac, creating a luminous, high-contrast effect, while the beards glow white with a golden base and throat. Bred from ‘Belinda Babe’ x ‘Chubby Cheeks’, Mimic is a collector-grade, 7" (16 cm) garden showpiece—perfect for adding a touch of artistry and pedigree-worthy charm to any border or rock garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
