Midnight Caller

Midnight Caller (Monty Byers, 1989) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm), introduced by Moonshine Gardens in 1990. This reblooming variety graces the midseason garden with standards of silky deep purple and velvety blackish purple falls, each edged in a lighter hue. The deep violet beard adds a vivid accent, while lightly ruffled petals enhance its elegant form. Bred from Violet Miracle x Evening Mist, Midnight Caller is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
