Meteorite

Meteorite (Sutton, 2016) is a reblooming tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), noted for its pronounced spicy fragrance and dynamic color contrasts. Early to late season blooms feature yellow standards with subtle white veining and matching yellow style arms. The falls are crisp white, accented by slight yellow veining and a vivid 2" red-violet band with black highlights, finished with a ¼" greyed orange edge and a fine red-violet wire rim. The ruffled form adds texture and elegance. Bred from Cold Fusion X seedling W-295-A (Jazz Band x Fall Enterprise), Meteorite received an Honorable Mention from the American Iris Society in 2018.
