Meteor Shower

Meteor Shower (Larry Lauer, 2002) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded iris that delivers extraordinary visual impact in the garden. Reaching 33" (84 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features luminous amber yellow standards softly flushed with apricot, complemented by style arms touched with violet. The falls are a dramatic plum purple edged in lilac, accented by violet beards, a burnt orange throat, and a distinctive blue horn. Lightly ruffled petals and a pronounced sweet fragrance add to its refined, collector-grade appeal. With its pedigree—‘It’s Getting Better’ X ‘Conjuration’—Meteor Shower is a vibrant, painterly showpiece for any landscape. Attributes: Edge Trim, Fragrant, Novelty, Ruffled, Space Age
