Merry Madrigal

Merry Madrigal (Sanford Babson, 1982) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm) with a graceful midseason bloom. Its standards are a soft lemon cream, beautifully contrasted by lavender falls over cream, each edged in cream for a refined finish. The pale yellow beard adds a gentle highlight. Bred from Touché and a complex seedling cross, Merry Madrigal was introduced by Melrose Gardens and earned an Honorable Mention in 1985. This iris is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
