Maslon

Maslon is a distinguished miniature tall bearded iris introduced by Donald Spoon in 2002. This early to midseason bloomer reaches 17" (43 cm) and features bright light primrose yellow standards and style arms, paired with velvety purple falls edged by a narrow white rim. The golden yellow beards add a vivid accent, while the ruffled, flared form and closed standards create a refined silhouette. Maslon is noted for its excellent branching, producing up to 9 buds per stalk for an extended bloom period. Fertile both ways, this cultivar has received multiple accolades, including the Williamson-White Medal in 2008. Maslon is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
