Main Street

Main Street (Larry Lauer, 2009) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm) and blooming in the early midseason. This award-winning variety, recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2011, features lilac standards with a plum purple midrib and a delicate honeysuckle rim. The style arms are honeysuckle with a mineral violet lip, while the falls are a deep, velvety jet black accented by a crisp white marking at the shoulders. The ruffled blooms are completed by vibrant nasturtium red and orange beards. Main Street is notable for its pronounced sweet fragrance, making it a memorable addition to any garden.
