MacDonald Pass is a tall bearded iris introduced by Mona Baisch in 2019. This midseason bloomer reaches 38" (97 cm) and features elegant red-violet standards and style arms, with falls in rich tyrian purple that deepen to imperial purple near the hafts. The beards are a vivid Spanish orange, and the blooms display a subtle diamond dusting for added shimmer. Bred from 'White Hot' crossed with an unknown parent, MacDonald Pass is available from Amethyst Creek Farm. No rebloom or fragrance is noted.
