Luxuriant

Luxuriant (Paul Black, 2016) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm), blooming early to midseason. This award-winning variety features icy light slate blue standards with wide ice white margins and delicate light grey veining. The falls are a pale ice blue-white, accented by light grey and plum veining in the throat. Style arms are a mid ice blue, and the beards are white-based with light yellow-tan tips. Luxuriant offers a slight sweet fragrance and is the result of a cross between Beauty Becomes Her and Haunted Heart. Recognized with an Honorable Mention in 2018 and an Award of Merit in 2022.
