Loyal Royal

'Loyal Royal' (Elizabeth Rieniets, 2018) is an Intermediate Bearded iris introduced by Constant Gardner in 2019. This early-blooming variety reaches 24" (61 cm) and features upright, closed standards in rich golden yellow, complemented by dark golden yellow style arms. The falls display a golden yellow ground with maroon parallel lines branching to the edge, a white center with maroon veining, and a solid maroon lower petal bordered by a narrow peach edge. The beards transition from yellow-orange in the throat to dark golden yellow and finish in golden yellow at the tips. Notably, 'Loyal Royal' offers a pronounced sweet fragrance. Parentage is unknown.
