Lois' Choice

‘Lois’ Choice’ (Quad F3 x Silver Dawn F3, first bloomed 1977) is a legendary, Gold Medal-winning peony celebrated for its extraordinary, tri-color blooms. Each flower is a bold, graphic statement: one-third luminous warm pink, one-third radiant bright yellow, and the final third returning to that vibrant pink, creating a painterly, high-contrast effect that is truly one-of-a-kind. This tetraploid is fertile both as pod and pollen parent, making it a hybridizer’s dream and a collector-grade addition to any garden. ‘Lois’ Choice’ is a commanding, field-stopping presence—an unmistakable centerpiece that turns heads and elevates any landscape with its memorable, gallery-worthy color pattern. Seedling #102. Awarded the American Peony Society’s Gold Medal in 2017.
