Linda Laing

Linda Laing (Donald Spoon, 2011) is a gallery-worthy Tall Bearded iris that brings a bold, painterly presence to the garden. Reaching an impressive 37" (94 cm), this late midseason bloomer captivates with its saturated rosy red standards and falls, accented by slightly deeper midribs and darker veining. The beards feature a rosy red base with hairs tipped in vivid red-orange (RHS 41A), while hidden lighter haft marks beside the beard add subtle intrigue. Its velvety, ruffled, and laced petals exude refinement, complemented by a gentle sweet fragrance. Bred from Will Scarlet x Fashionably Late, Linda Laing is a collector-grade, field-stopping iris for those seeking a dynamic, high-impact addition to their landscape. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Fragrant, Laced, Novelty, Ruffled, Space Age, Veining
