Life In Color

Life In Color (Sutton, 2022) is a commanding tall bearded iris that lives up to its name with a vivid, painterly palette and sculptural form. Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming midseason, this remarkable cultivar features luminous yellow-orange standards and style arms, contrasted by falls that open white around the beard, then transition into a saturated yellow-orange, finishing with a dramatic blend of red-purple and greyed orange at the edge. The bold yellow beards and ruffled petals add to its dynamic, gallery-worthy presence in the garden. Bred from Infusion X seedling AZ-1111-C (Cold Fusion x Solar Burst), Life In Color is a true garden showpiece and a memorable addition for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a statement-making, pedigree-worthy iris.
