Leave Me Breathless

Leave Me Breathless (Thomas Johnson, 2019) is a tall bearded iris reaching 37" (94 cm) and blooming in midseason. This variety features elegant white standards and style arms, with falls that are also white but adorned with short orange lines around the beard and deep purple lines that blend into a central wash. A wide white band, scattered with violet dots, frames the falls for added visual interest. The beards are white at the base with vivid orange tips, and the blooms offer a slight fragrance. Bred from Read Between the Lines and a select seedling, Leave Me Breathless was introduced by Mid-America in 2019 and received an Honorable Mention in 2021. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
