Lava Moonscape

Lava Moonscape (LeRoy Meininger, 1998) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its painterly color play and sculptural form. Reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming early to midseason, this cultivar features luminous white standards with a pink center flush and green veining, complemented by white style arms edged and midribbed in pink. The falls are a pale lavender, accented by mauve-marked hafts and a narrow flesh pink rim, while vivid carrot orange beards add a bold, graphic contrast.
