Lash Out

Lash Out (Paul Black, 2019) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm), blooming midseason to late. This variety features standards with a red-amber center that blends outward to gold-amber, then to light lilac, and finishes with a mid-gold band, all accented by darker red-amber veins. The style arms are mid gold. Falls display a mid amber-red center with darker hafts, lightening toward the center and blending to a light lavender band edged by a ½" gold border. Marigold orange beards and a slight spicy fragrance add further appeal. Lash Out is a result of a complex parentage involving Passionate Embrace, Bold Encounter, Foreign Legion, and Silent Screen Star.
