Lady Emma

‘Lady Emma’ (Frank Jones, 1985) is a distinguished MTB iris reaching 24" (60 cm), introduced by F. Jones and released by Spring Hill Iris in 1986. This variety features elegant Dresden yellow standards (RHS 5A) and primrose yellow falls (7A), complemented by a rich Indian yellow (17A) beard. Noted for its midseason bloom and reliable reblooming habit, ‘Lady Emma’ also offers a slight sweet fragrance. With parentage from ‘Twice Blessed’ and ‘Autumn Orangelite’, it has earned an Honorable Mention (1988) and is recognized for reblooming performance across a wide range of climates, including USDA Zones 4–10a.
