Lady Alexandra Duff

Lady Alexandra Duff is a large, midseason double peony renowned for its abundant, graceful clusters of blooms. The flowers are pale blush-pink, nearly white, with yellow stamens and a few irregular central petals, creating a charming, informal appearance. In some seasons, the blooms show a more pronounced pink, especially on the reverse near the calyx. The plant is very floriferous, with strong stems and abundant foliage, and produces a fair fragrance. Terminal flowers on established plants are well filled out, making Lady Alexandra Duff a first-class exhibition bloom and one of the most beautiful peonies available. Lateral buds, if not disbudded, yield attractive semi-double side flowers. Offered by Amethyst Creek Farm.
