Lace Legacy (Doris Greenwood by J. Terry Aitken, 1992) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming in midseason. This variety features heavily laced, light apricot-orange standards and falls, with a delicate transition to white surrounding vivid orange beards. A subtle fragrance adds to its appeal. Parentage is unknown. Introduced by Aitken’s Salmon Creek in 1992, Lace Legacy received an Honorable Mention in 1994. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
