King's Reign

King's Reign (Thomas Johnson, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 32" (81 cm), blooming midseason to late. This elegant variety features pristine white standards with narrow gold halos and matching white style arms accented by gold crests. The falls are white, dramatically bordered by a deep red-purple band edged with a lighter hue, and finished with vivid tangerine beards. A slight fragrance adds to its appeal. Bred from Gypsy Lord x Edge Of Heaven, King's Reign was introduced by Mid-America in 2015 and received an Honorable Mention in 2018. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
