Joyful Love

‘Joyful Love’ (Thomas Johnson, 2014) is a charming Standard Dwarf Bearded iris reaching 15" (38 cm) in height and blooming early in the season. This variety features light orange-peach standards with a subtle violet infusion at the base and up the midrib, complemented by darker orange-peach style arms. The falls mirror the standards in color, deepening around the vivid orange beards. A slight fragrance adds to its appeal. Bred from ‘Film Star’ crossed with a black seedling and ‘Lovable Pink’ as the pod parent, ‘Joyful Love’ was introduced by Mid-America in 2014 and received an Honorable Mention in 2018.
