Jesse's Edition (Sutton, 1999) is a remarkable reblooming tall bearded iris, celebrated for its captivating color contrast and pronounced sweet fragrance. This 26" (66 cm) late medium bloomer features luminous blue-purple standards (near RHS 102A) with a white midrib accented by a blue-purple line and subtle speckling. The falls are crisp white, dramatically edged and stippled with a 5/8" band of blue-purple, complemented by yellow-orange beards and a light blue-purple base. Ruffled petals and vibrant style arms add to its sculptural, exhibition-grade presence. Bred from Rare Edition X Jesse’s Song, Jesse’s Edition earned an Honorable Mention in 2003 and stands out as a collector-grade, field-stopping addition to any garden.
