Instant Message (Thomas Johnson, 2021) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming early in the season. This variety features standards with a white ground almost entirely overlaid in lavender-blue, complemented by matching lavender-blue style arms. The falls are crisp white, edged with a deep inky blue-purple plicata band and a partial stripe below the beard. Beards are white at the base, transitioning to tangerine in the throat and middle, with lavender tips, and the blooms are enhanced by a sweet fragrance.
