Instant Attraction

Instant Attraction (Paul Black, 2019) is a dazzling Tall Bearded iris that lives up to its name with a gallery-worthy presence. Reaching 33" (84 cm), this midseason to very late bloomer features luminous light lavender standards subtly brushed with bronze along the rib, while coppery butterscotch style arms transition from mid-gold to violet. The falls radiate a vivid yellow-gold center, seamlessly blending into a rich copper band, all punctuated by bold dark marigold beards. A slight sweet fragrance adds an extra layer of allure. With its high-contrast coloration, sculptural form, and refined pedigree, Instant Attraction is a collector-grade, show garden centerpiece for those seeking a bloom with undeniable charisma and distinction. Hybridized by Paul Black and introduced in 2019.
