Inky Icon
$12.00
Inky Icon (Tom Burseen, 2003) is a truly extraordinary Tall Bearded iris, reaching 35" (89 cm) and blooming midseason to late. This cultivar captivates with its deep, saturated dark purple standards (RHS 79D) and dramatic dark plum purple falls (79A), accented by dark bronze purple style arms. The white striated hafts and a bold, large white spoon edged in purple at the tip of the beard create a graphic, painterly effect. Ruffled petals and a slight fragrance add to its refined, exhibition-grade appeal. Bred from Grand Style X It Aint So, Inky Icon is a gallery-worthy, collector-grade iris that brings a dynamic, color-forward presence to any garden. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
