In Cahoots

In Cahoots (Thomas Johnson, 2011) is a remarkable SDB iris that commands attention with its luminous, midseason blooms. This 12" (30 cm) garden-showpiece features medium lime-yellow standards and style arms, contrasted by paler lime-yellow falls highlighted with a dramatic, darker lime-green spot and a narrow band. The beards glow old gold in the throat, finishing with a vivid violet tip, and a slight fragrance adds to its appeal. With a pedigree that includes Fusspot, Stormy Circle, Investor, and Bright Note, In Cahoots is a collector-grade addition to any landscape. Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2015, this iris is a standout for its color-forward design and field-stopping presence. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
