In A Heartbeat

In A Heartbeat (Vincent Christopherson, 2001) is a memorable Tall Bearded iris that brings a luminous, gallery-worthy presence to the garden. Reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming midseason to late, this cultivar features clear light yellow standards and yellow style arms, complemented by light yellow falls with a pristine white center and bold yellow shoulders. The yellow beards and a light yellow flounce with a subtle lavender base add a refined, painterly finish. With its high-contrast coloration and sculptural form, In A Heartbeat is a field-stopping, collector-grade iris bred from Pink Swan x Triple Whammy, introduced by Argyle Acres in 2002 and honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2005.
