Illuminati

‘Illuminati’ (Keith Keppel, 2018) is a tall bearded iris reaching 32" (81 cm), blooming in the early midseason. This luminata variety features elegant french lilac standards, subtly lightening toward a yellow base and accented by a distinct chrome lemon band. The style arms are a soft lemon, delicately flushed with lilac. Falls display a refined french lilac edge with a fine light lemon butter rim, transitioning to wood violet and a bluer center, highlighted by a white throat. The beards are white-based with chrome yellow tips in the throat and light yellow at the ends. Bred from ‘Fancy Ideas’ and a distinguished seedling lineage, ‘Illuminati’ was introduced by Keppel in 2019 and has earned both an Honorable Mention (2021) and Award of Merit (2024).
