Hot Glow

‘Hot Glow’ (Richard Tasco, 2005) is a reblooming Intermediate Bearded iris reaching 23" (58 cm), introduced by Superstition in 2006. This early to midseason bloomer features ruffled standards and falls in radiant golden canary yellow, with falls displaying a darker spot that softens as the flower matures. The style arms are golden canary yellow, lighter along the midribs and brighter at the crest. Beards are white tipped with burnt orange in the throat, transitioning to tangerine and finishing in canary yellow. ‘Hot Glow’ is noted for its sweet fragrance and reliable rebloom, with performance reported in California, Oregon, and Virginia (USDA Zones 6, 8, 9).
