Horned Dragonfly

Horned Dragonfly (Lloyd Austin, 1964) is a singular Tall Bearded iris that brings a bold, graphic presence to the garden. Reaching 36" (91 cm), this midseason to late bloomer captivates with orchid-toned standards and falls, elegantly washed in rose and highlighted by dramatic dark rose-orchid striping. Its signature orchid horns lend a sculptural, almost otherworldly flair, making each bloom a true conversation piece. With a distinguished pedigree from Sierra Sunset x Horned Mystery, Horned Dragonfly is a collector-grade, exhibition-ready iris—perfect for those seeking a statement-making, curator-worthy addition to their landscape.
