Hopen Fer Rain

Hopen Fer Rain (Tom Burseen, 2014) is a truly remarkable Tall Bearded Iris, celebrated for its painterly blend of color and sculptural form. The standards glow in majolica yellow (RHS 168D), overlaid with rich brown and finished with a wash of violet-blue at the edges, while the style arms echo the yellow, feathered in gold. The falls are a dramatic red-brown, boldly flared and edged in luminous saffron yellow (21C), creating a vivid, high-contrast display. Gold beards tipped with brown-purple horns add a boutique-caliber flourish. Exceptionally ruffled and boasting a slight musky fragrance, this midseason to late bloomer stands at 34" (86 cm) and brings a gallery-worthy, pedigree presence to any garden. Hopen Fer Rain is a collector-grade iris with a dynamic, unforgettable look. Parentage: 'Bettern Beer' X seedling 09-529: ('That's All Folks' x 'Craig's List'). Attributes: Fertile
