Hoosier Dome

Hoosier Dome (Lynda Miller, 2007) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), introduced by Millers Manor. This late midseason bloomer features elegant white standards with a light plum-brushed midrib, complemented by white style arms brushed with light plum at the center. The falls display a rich plum hue that softens to lavender at the edges, accented by pale blue beards tipped with yellow in the throat. Hoosier Dome offers a slight musky fragrance and is the result of a cross between Startled and Time Goes By. Honored with an Honorable Mention in 2011, this iris is available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
