Reaching an impressive 48" (122 cm), this midseason to late bloomer features dark plum standards with paler centers, medium gold style arms, and vivid violet to rose midribs and crests. The falls are a rich claret purple edged in red plum, with red-brown hafts and a bold gold to orange-gold beard that transitions to white at the tip, accented by a short claret and white "hook." Ruffled petals and a slight musky fragrance add to its cultivated appeal. With a pedigree from Sultry Mood x Conjuration, Hook is a medal-worthy standout, honored with an HM in 2003 and an Award of Merit in 2006.
