Holiday Spirit

Holiday Spirit (Thomas Johnson, 2009) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming in the late season. This variety features cream standards softly washed with medium chestnut and gold style arms. The falls display a cream ground almost entirely overlaid with rich mahogany, intensifying to a darker, more solid edge. Old gold beards are set off by a white area heavily sanded with plum. Holiday Spirit offers a slight fragrance and produces show-quality stalks with three branches and 7-8 buds. Hybridized from 'Tangled Web' x 'Ring Around Rosie'. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
