Highland Games

Highland Games (J. Terry Aitken, 2000) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its dynamic color play and garden-showpiece presence. Reaching 38" (97 cm) and blooming in the late midseason, this cultivar features rose lavender standards above soft orange falls that blend seamlessly into a rose lavender rim, all accented by vivid carrot orange beards. The result is a painterly, color-forward bloom with undeniable charisma and a memorable, field-stopping effect. Bred from 'Chocolate Marmalade' and a notable "dark top" seedling, Highland Games earned an Honorable Mention in 2003 for its extraordinary visual impact and pedigree-worthy performance.
