High Chaparral

High Chaparral (Schreiner, 2006) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), blooming from midseason to late. This award-winning variety features yellow standards (RHS 14C) and tan falls (31C) elegantly banded in rose, complemented by ruffled petals and beards of yellow tipped with orange. Bred from Harvest Faire x Waysides Apricot Delite, High Chaparral has earned multiple accolades, including the Presidents Cup (2006), Honorable Mention (2008), Award of Merit (2010), and second place at the Moscow International TB Iris Competition (2010).
