Hearty Burgundy

Hearty Burgundy (Keith Keppel, 2012) is a tall bearded iris reaching 40" (102 cm) with early midseason bloom. This variety features port wine-colored standards with a subtle brown cast at the base, rustic brown style arms lightly shaded in port wine, and falls in a deeper port wine hue. The velvety blooms are accented by mustard orange beards with a touch of florida gold in the throat. Honored with an AIS Honorable Mention in 2014, Hearty Burgundy is a sophisticated addition to any iris collection, available from Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Fertile Awards: Honorable Mention
