Hard To Resist

‘Hard To Resist’ (Thomas Johnson, 2016) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm), blooming in midseason. This award-winning variety features very light ice blue standards and blue-ice white style arms, with falls of crisp white edged by a wide violet-blue band. Vibrant orange beards add a vivid accent, and a sweet fragrance enhances its garden appeal. A sibling to ‘Living Legend’, ‘Hard To Resist’ has earned both the Honorable Mention (2019) and Award of Merit (2022) from the American Iris Society. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
