Halloween Moon

Halloween Moon (LeRoy Meininger, 2002) is a tall bearded iris reaching 34" (86 cm) and blooming in midseason. This variety features standards with a yellow ground, heavily veined in smoky lavender and edged with a lavender border. The style arms are a unique bronze lavender. Falls display a yellow ground with a small white central spot, encircled by a dense 1" purple plicata band and finished with delicate lavender stitching around a bronze beard. Parentage is unknown.
