Grape Snakez

Grape Snakez (Brad Kasperek, 1998) is a remarkable tall bearded iris that commands attention with its bold, broken color pattern and dynamic presence in the garden. Reaching 37" (94 cm) and blooming midseason, this cultivar features toffee standards streaked with light silver white and flecked with purple, complemented by toffee and grape style arms. The falls are a dramatic purple, streaked with toffee and cream white, and finished with dark gold beards. Ruffled petals and a slight fragrance add to its allure. With its painterly, graphic coloration and pedigree from 'Bewilderbeast' x 'Gnus Flash', Grape Snakez is a collector-grade, exhibition-worthy iris that earned an Honorable Mention in 2001. A true conversation-starter and centerpiece for any garden. Attributes: Fragrant, Novelty, Ruffled Awards: Honorable Mention
