Grape Cocktail

Grape Cocktail (Michael Sutton, 2021) is a remarkable SDB iris that commands attention with its bold, color-forward presence. Reaching 13" (33 cm) and blooming early, this hybridizer’s dream features saturated purple standards subtly veined in deeper tones, complemented by purple style arms with blue veining extending to the crests. The falls are a dramatic dark purple, nearly black, with a lighter edge for high-contrast appeal, while the beards glow with violet-blue bases and yellow tips. Bred from ‘Pepi’ X ‘Devoted’, Grape Cocktail is a standout addition for collectors and garden enthusiasts seeking a vivid, exhibition-grade bloom with undeniable charisma. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm. Attributes: Edge Trim, Veining Awards: Honorable Mention
