Gnu Again

Gnu Again (Brad Kasperek, 1993) is a unique Tall Bearded Iris reaching 32" (81 cm) and blooming midseason. This novelty variety features medium violet standards (RHS 83B) with random off-white (155C) splashes, and dark violet falls (83A) accented by unpredictable off-white breaks and splashes. The ruffled blooms are complemented by burnt orange beards tipped with medium violet and offer a slight fragrance. Bred from Maria Tormena x Eagles Flight, Gnu Again received an Honorable Mention in 1996 and an Award of Merit in 1998. Available from Amethyst Creek Farm.
