Glitzy

Glitzy (George Sutton, 2001) is a tall bearded iris reaching 36" (91 cm) and blooming in the late midseason. This variety features pallid butterfly blue standards with a gold infusion near the base and white-edged style arms. The falls are a harmonious blend of burgundy, violet, and plum, softly washed with pale butterfly blue and finished with a 1/4" pale blue-violet edge. Pale blue-violet beards are tipped with dark orange, adding a unique accent. Glitzy is ruffled and offers a slight spicy fragrance.
