Girl Crush

Girl Crush (Kent Pfeiffer, 2015) is a truly extraordinary Tall Bearded iris, celebrated for its bold edge-trimmed form and velvety, ruffled petals. Standing at 36" (91 cm), this mid-to-late season showpiece features refined lavender-pink standards, subtly flushed with lavender at the base and finished with a luminous gold edge. The style arms mirror this lavender hue, accented by golden crests and edges. Its deep maroon falls are edged in lavender and highlighted by a dramatic white eyelash pattern near the beards, which themselves are a captivating blend of white-based hairs tipped in gold. With a slight sweet fragrance and a painterly, color-forward design, Girl Crush is a garden centerpiece—arresting, luxurious, and collector-grade. Its pedigree includes 'High Point', 'Brazilian Holiday', and 'Salome’s Butterfly', ensuring both performance and pedigree appeal. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
