Get Back

Get Back (Larry Lauer, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 35" (89 cm) with a midseason bloom. This award-winning variety features elegant white standards and style arms, while the falls display a rich aster violet (RHS 87C) that deepens to sea lavender-violet (87A) at the rim and lightens back to aster violet. The falls are accented by copper brown (176B) shoulders that transition to peach-beige (174B) near the beard. The beards themselves are a vibrant blend: cadmium orange (23A) in the throat, indian yellow (17B) in the middle, and buttercup yellow (16C) at the end. Notably ruffled and carrying a pronounced sweet fragrance, Get Back is the result of a cross between Flash of Light and Carry On.
