Gentle

Gentle (Paul Black, 2000) is a charming Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris reaching 14" (36 cm) in height, blooming midseason. This variety features elegantly ruffled white standards with subtle greenish midrib veining and falls delicately tinted with green. The beards display a unique blend of lavender at the tips, transitioning to tangerine and orange in the throat, complemented by a slight sweet fragrance. Bred from 'Spin Again' and a select seedling from 'Jade Jewels' x 'Chanted', Gentle was introduced by Mid-America in 2001 and received an Honorable Mention in 2003. Available at Amethyst Creek Farm.
